The land is not
a backdrop.

A chapter of this Landbody began 35 years ago as a place to observe.
On the peak of a hill, an observatory was built to cross liminal space,
moving our perception to the outer cosmos.

Stars.     moon.

What we can observe only at night.. lights only visible to us in darkness.
The starry nights on the atlantic south west are beautifully alive.

maybe there was a part of the cosmic spectrum missing ...
the land has been left to nature alone

then the observation of the inner cosmos began to gather.

The Land provides a nest to turn inwards, observe ourselves, the other,
reflections & projections in between - and holds an open gate to connect
with our essence and ground.

This is not a retreat center-

this is a rooted entity who is somewhere by her big toe connected to the ocean,
who seasonally opens her gates for people to connect, to integrate,
and celebrate both worlds.
